You Can Now Purchase Bitcoin And Other Cryptocurrencies On Circle Using Apple Pay

Circle, the organisation behind USD Coin (CRYPTO: USDC), has expanded support for Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) Pay in a bid to close the gap between cryptocurrencies and conventional payments.

What Happened: Circle said on Tuesday that it will let users use Apple Pay to buy cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) on their favourite exchange. Circle claims that this will make it easier for clients who don't use cryptocurrency to purchase cryptocurrency from companies that specialise in it.

Apple Pay is a safer and faster way to pay because "customers will no longer have to create an account or fill out lengthy forms," according to a blog post by Circle. It can also help NFT marketplaces, crypto gaming, crypto exchanges, crypto wallets, and cross-border remittance providers grow their businesses.

Customers may use Circle to make payments online and in applications using their iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and other compatible devices. Apple Pay is available to "qualified businesses" and Circle promises that setting it up is "a easy process.

Circle has denied having any connection to the bankruptcy of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX, which sent shockwaves across the industry.
