Sector Update: Tech Stocks Weaken Monday Morning

Premarket Monday, technology stocks were trending downward. Both the Semiconductor Sector Index Fund and the Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF recently experienced declines of 0.04% and 0.83%, respectively.

Playtika Holding announced that it would postpone the deadline for a $600 million tender offer for as many as 51.8 million of its outstanding shares by an additional week, to one minute after 11:59 p.m. ET on October 3. Recently, Playtika saw a gain of more than 4%.

Geely Holding Group and Intel's Mobileye subsidiary announced that their collaboration on enhanced driver assistance and autonomous car technology has grown. Recently, Intel made a slight advancement.
