Sector Update: Premarket Health Care Stocks Rise to Flat Wednesday

The premarket Wednesday performance of the healthcare sector was mixed. The iShares Biotechnology ETF IBB was recently quiet, and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund XLV was up 0.16%.

Biora Therapeutics B BIOR was rising above 20%, adding to gains made earlier this week after the US Food and Drug Administration provided pre-investigational new drug feedback and other programme updates.

After announcing that Apple AAPL violated one of Masimo's pulse oximeter patents by importing and selling specific Apple watches into the US, Masimo MASI saw a rise of over 9% in value.

After reporting preliminary Q4 revenue of $85.6 million to $86.0 million, up from $53.1 million a year earlier, Axonics AXNX was nearly 8% higher. Capital IQ's survey of analysts predicted $74.3 million.
