Social media buzz: Friday's premarket decline in WallstreetBets stocks

Before the start of trade on Friday, the most-discussed equities in the Reddit subforum Wallstreetbets were all down.

Premarket losses for Tesla TSLA were 4.7%, following a Thursday decrease of about 3%. The automaker announced Thursday that the Model S is now available for 789,900 renminbi ($115, 097), the Model X is available for 879,900 renminbi, the Model 3 is available for 229,900 renminbi, and the Model Y is available for 259,900 renminbi.

Amazon AMZN decreased by 0.1% after falling by 2.4% on Thursday. According to Chief Executive Andy Jassy, the corporation is letting go of slightly more than 18,000 workers. They have also partnered with EVgo EVGO to provide charging stations for electric vehicles.

After closing Thursday 1.1% lower, Apple (AAPL) was down by less than 0.1%. Foxconn, a supplier to the firm, reported on Thursday that while sales for the month of December were down from the previous year, production and operations at its primary iPhone plant in Zhengzhou, China, progressively returned to normal.

Among the other companies under consideration, Coinbase Global COIN dropped 1.3% after falling 11% in the previous session, and Alibaba BABA was down 0.8% premarket after increasing 0.6% Thursday. After falling 2.3% on Thursday, Salesforce CRM down 0.3% pre-bell, and Netflix NFLX sank 0.6% after edging up 0.1% on Thursday.
